Resolution 1325 and related resolutions
Resolution 1325 underlines the importance of women fully participating and on an equal footing in the prevention and resolution of armed conflicts and the establishment and consolidation of peace. Resolutions related to or associated with 1325 broaden and deepen different aspects of gender equality and the role of women in peace.

1325 Timeline
1325 National Action Plans (NAP)
By 2023, 95 countries in the world have National Action Plans (NAPs) of Resolution 1325.
Nine countries in the region have National Action Plans:
Argentina (2015), Brazil (2017), Chile (2015 and 2009), El Salvador (2017), Guatemala (2017), Mexico (2021), Paraguay (2015), Peru (2021) and Colombia (2023).
