The National Women, Peace, and Security Journalism Award is an initiative of Red Nacional de Mujeres. The first two editions were carried out in partnership with Pacifista and the Global Network of Women Peacebuilders (GNWP) and were supported by Norad.
The third edition of the award was held in partnership with Colombia+20 from El Espectador and GNWP and was supported by Global Affairs Canada’s Peace and Stabilization Operations Program (PSOPs).
Objective
To encourage the work of journalists, communicators, and youth groups to carry out journalism with a gender perspective defending the role of women as active actors in the construction of peace.
This microsite is an initiative of La red Nacional de Mujeres with support from GNWP, Norad and Global Affairs Canada's Peace and Stabilization Operations Program (PSOP).
